Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

From an early age, Tina Gorman was drawn to both creative expression and supporting others. In high school, she discovered art therapy—a field that seamlessly combined her passions—and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Therapy, followed by a Master of Science in Art Therapy.

Over more than a decade, Tina served vulnerable populations in a variety of roles. She supported children recovering from abuse, worked with teens in residential care, and advocated for foster children facing mental health challenges. She later supervised a bilingual foster care program, deepening her commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive care.

After relocating from Illinois to the East Coast and raising her family, Tina transitioned into private practice during the pandemic. She now works with teens and adults, using the creative process to foster self-discovery, strengthen self-esteem, and support meaningful goal setting.

Today, Tina facilitates individual and community art therapy groups from her studio in St. Johnsbury, VT; guiding clients toward healing, growth, and lasting transformation.
